Last Updated September 1, 2026

On this Page
This guide covers the lounges at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). If you're flying from Kuala Lumpur's other airport in Subang, there are also lounges available at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB).
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) serves as Malaysia's main international gateway. It is located in the Sepang District of Selangor, and is around 45 km (28 mi) south of downtown Kuala Lumpur.
The airport is split into two main Terminals: KLIA1, home to full-service international airlines and the national carrier, Malaysia Airlines; and KLIA2, which is dedicated to low-cost carriers like AirAsia. The KLIA Ekspres train links both Terminals to Kuala Lumpur’s city center.
Kuala Lumpur International Airport currently has 16 open lounges available to travellers. In addition, there are 5 sleeping capsule locations.
This comprehensive guide provides information about the locations, amenities, pricing, access methods, and layout of every lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport to help you make an informed decision about which lounge best suits your needs and budget.
